He has a twin brother (Tom, a graphic designer in Toronto) and a younger brother (William, a teacher in Woodstock) Joseph studied theatre at Humber College in Toronto. He also works as a cook, waiter and Front of House Manager. Joseph met his wife while working at the Rose Theatre in Brampton, Ontario.
