David Strasser is a prolific, award-winning director and executive producer known for his versatility across mystery, thriller, procedural, and romance. His work reaches global audiences on major platforms including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hallmark Channel, and Lifetime Television, with projects earning nominations from the Canadian Screen Awards, the Leo Awards, and the Directors Guild of Canada Awards. His recent portfolio reflects an expansion into prestige episodic and elevated dramatic storytelling. He directed key episodes of UPtv’s procedural Blue Skies (2026) and serves as executive producer and director of Hallmark Mystery’s acclaimed Nelly Knows Mysteries franchise (2024-2026).
