Biography
Lam Wah-Chuen (林華全) is a Hong Kong director, cinematographer, and music composer. He began his career in the film industry as a photographer for Shaw Brothers. He held different positions including: recorder, assistant director, stunt director and MTV director and cinematographer. After meeting director Fruit Chan (陳果) in 1996, he recommended himself to be the cinematographer and score composer for his first independent film, Made in Hong Kong (香港製造). In 2001, he directed the film The Runaway Pistol (走火槍), and was shortlisted for Best Film, Director and Screenplay at the Taiwan Golden Horse Awards. In 2009, he directed China's first digital 3D stereoscopic film, China Idol Boys (乐火男孩) .
